Caskets by Design

Our basic cedar caskets are very reasonably priced for a fully lined and finished solid wood casket. They have a smooth box design, and use a better grade of wood throughout. A single raised lid is standard as are the solid wood handles. The exterior is fully sanded to a very smooth finish and stained with a color that enhances the grain of the wood. Final coats vary depending on the characteristics of the wood, but typically are a semi gloss. The interior is fully padded and lined including the lid, with off-white being the standard color, with many optional colors available on pre-order caskets.

Pre-order one of our cedar caskets today and it can be ready in as little as 3 days, but we also normally have a variety of styles in stock, either finished, wrapped and ready to ship, or semi-finished & waiting to be lined in the color of your choice.

All our product's are hand made locally and shipped via truck freight at an additional fee to the lower 48 US States only, average delivery time is 3-7 business days. Free shipping within a 50 mile radius of Langlois, Oregon. After you order we will call you to schedule a delivery time, also deliveries can be made directly to any funeral home or business address, with home delivery possible depending on your location.
